This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how the provider of Let Us SQL (the “App”) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and manages the information of users (“Users”) in the App and its related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1.Information We Collect and How
The Service does not require account registration, and we do not collect information that directly identifies you as an individual, such as your name, address, phone number, or email address. We collect the following:
(1) Information you enter or send
- The content of questions you enter in the AI question feature, and the content of the conversation exchanged in that feature
- The content of bug reports or feedback you send through the report feature
When this content is sent, the identifier, title, and page number of the relevant lesson, the display language, and the app version are sent together.
(2) Information collected automatically through use of the Service
- Information about app usage and interaction events
- Device information such as device model, OS and its version, language settings, and app version
- Approximate location (country or region level)
- An identifier assigned per app installation
- Crash and diagnostic information used to analyze problems
(3) Information stored only on your device
- Your learning progress, active days, and monthly AI usage count are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers. They are erased when you delete the App.
2.Purposes of Use
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and operate the Service
- To generate and provide answers in the AI question feature
- To respond to reports and inquiries from Users
- To analyze how the Service is used, improve quality, and develop new features
- To identify, investigate, and fix problems
- To prevent misuse and ensure security
- If we offer Paid Services, to process purchases and manage billing status
- To comply with applicable laws
3.Third-Party Services and Disclosure to Third Parties
We use the following external services to provide the Service, and information is collected and processed by these providers to the extent necessary:
- Google LLC (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Cloud Functions): to analyze usage, collect crash information, and provide server functions
- OpenRouter (an AI service provider): to generate answers in the AI question feature. The questions and conversation content you enter are sent to it.
- Slack Technologies (Slack): to notify us so we can review report content and AI question content
Except where required by law or where you have consented, we do not provide your personal information to third parties other than the above. We do not sell your information.
4.Cross-Border Transfer
The providers of the external services above include entities located outside Japan. When information is processed through these providers, your information may be handled in foreign countries.
5.Note on Using the AI Feature
Content you enter in the AI question feature is sent to and processed by us and the external service providers described above in order to generate answers. Please do not enter your name, contact details, or other personal or confidential information into this feature.
6.Security Measures
We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the information we collect and to otherwise manage it safely. We also endeavor to ensure that providers of external services handle information appropriately.
7.Retention Period
We retain information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. When it is no longer needed, or after any period required by law has passed, we delete or anonymize it.
8.Identifiers and Analytics Tools
The Service may use identifiers employed by the analytics tools described above to analyze usage. The Service does not use these identifiers for the purpose of displaying advertisements. You may be able to reset the identifiers used for analytics in your device settings, or to disable some of our analytics functions. 9.Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed exclusively at any particular age group. If a child uses the Service, please ensure they do so with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
10.Your Rights
In accordance with applicable laws, you may request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of your personal information that we hold. When you make such a request, we will respond in accordance with the law after confirming your identity.
11.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as necessary. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or its store listing page. If you use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Policy.
